Memories: This is really touching, I swear, made me tear up a bit. This bride placed a flower on an empty chair close to the alter before she stood next to her husband-to-be. This flower and seat was reserved for the groom's mother who passed away a year ago and could not attend the wedding. I really want to do this for Ray's mother so we know she is there right near her son.

Willow Tree: I saw a girl who put these willow tree branches together for her wedding. She spray painted the branches black and hung little crystals off of them. This would be a good decor item for any random table hanging out by itself. Instead of wasting money on flowers that will die the next day. I would want to put two of the willow tree branches on each side of the candy buffet table + bridal table.

Shoes: I would like to have all my bridemaids sign the bottom of my shoe. Also anyone else who is in the room watching and helping me get ready. A good luck wish would be a great memory.

DIY: I love this little Do-It-Yourself project, that are little flags that you place in your wedding. I am hoping to put these together for our candy bar.



Favors, Extra: Ray and I thought about how hungrey we get if we are up dancing till midnight so we decided that we should do a little something extra for all our guests that will be there dancing their booties off till the morning! Maybe we can have milk + dounts or milk + cookies? Cute idea huh?

My colors look amazing!

Wedding Dress Sash: This is my wedding sash that I will be adding to my dress. The designer is Enziano and of course it will NOT be ordered in black. I will be getting the same sash in ivory. It really puts together my dress so nicely and is very trendy. THIS IS NOT MY DRESS - JUST MY SASH :)

Bridesmaids: Team Diaz..or Team Giuli. Totally will be a Michaels project!

FAVORS- FINAL DECISION

Favors: AHHH!! I am so happy I found this idea! I am totally going to do this instead of labels for ray's home brew. I will also still be tying a little note around the to pwith a ribbon stating Thank You. This is easier and I think is completley a different change from the labels I have been putting together for every single get together we throw. I will find a royal blue lace from Michaels and also yellow. I could even throw in some Ivory. I am super excited to start testing this little project out.

Centerpieces Galore!

I really love the mix of the lantern with the yellow flower and small candle, not big on the wood but I like the idea. I will be placing two lanterns per table

Bridal Party Bouquets!

Bridal Party/ Brides Bouquets: I really love the combination of these two flowers together. They will be my sample to show all florists!

Church and Lemons!

Ceremony: The laterns that will be placed on the aisle seats tied with a yellow ribbon. I don't want to waste $$ on flowers that won't be used ever again!

Assigned Seating: Another cute way to set up the placecards, looks easier too.

Trip to NYC!

Bridesmaid Dresses: 1/2 of my bridesmaids loved the dresses I picked out!! They looked great on and I am super excited to see them on the day of the wedding! The dresses can def be wore again for a different event. Another action item to mark off my list!

The color is a lot brighter then the one on the website.. internet colors never do justice.


P.S I found my wedding dresses, I am officially done in the dresses department.

Suits: I could only dream about having Ray wear a tan suit, it's not happening even though it would go perfectly with an outdoor wedding.

If I were in Tokyo I would TOTALLY have a Hello Kitty Wedding! ;)

Beer + Chocolate

Favors: We are for sure going to be giving out beer as favors. The top photo shoes a couples beer favor that they designed for their wedding. I will be doing something casual and nothing with our picture on it. The bottom shoes Hershey bars with pictures on it, don't you think its a bit tacky?
