Yay! First Item Bought!!

Ceremony Program/Menu- Went to Michael's to buy one thing, ended up buying another. Saw these and FELL in LOVE. Ceremony/program booklet + Menu templates. They were ridiculously cheap so I just need to figure out where I am getting married and whether or not the program fans come out looking fabulous. If not, I have these programs to fall on. This is my first physical wedding related item I have bought! Technically, it's my dress but I don't PHYSICALLY have it... YET! :)

Midnight Snack Attack

So, everyone always gets hungry after dinner and dancing, 4 hours later you start looking around for snacks. We were going to do cookies and milk or donuts with milk but now we are moving in a better direction. Our venue has a huge built in electric firepit outside that we will be turning on once it gets dark. What would be better then to have a smores station next to the pit for our close "stay up late" friends can put together their snack! We won't have too many just enough for the guests that will remain.

Bridesmaid Dresses!

Yum Cake!

Cake: Our cake comes included with our venue so that is one less person I have to mark off my list. We are getting our cake down by one of the most talented cake artists in the Denver area so that makes me very excited. I talked to her via e-mail a couple of times and she is very responsive and excited to put together our cake. The cake can only value up to $700 and that seems like a pretty okay price for me. I gave her some ideas because I won't know what is over budget or under budget and this is the one that I am going for. We will be meeting her again in November to have our cake tasting :) The picture above shows navy blue which I will not be putting on the cake. I think I might either have her do royal/colbalt blue ribbon in between layers and then yellow decorations on the sides with our monogram in the middle.

MJ and her Pom Pom

Flower girl Pomander: These flower ball things value for about $80-90 a piece!! Our Church will not allow us throw petals or flowers even take ones down the aisle so I am planning on having matilda walk down the aisle holding one of these except it won't be made out of real flowers, it will be made my Ray and I. We have searched online and it's actually one of the easiest projects we can do tomorrow, if we wanted too. Of course we will practice and make sure it works out perfectly.

Let there be light

Lighting: My very awesome DJ is putting together our uplighting for our reception. It obviously won't look as good as the picture above because like I said, my pavillion is open and only has a wall in the back. Excited!!

Table Numbers

Table Seating: Ray and me have set missions and goals for the end of the year. This is one of them, we are taking vintage silver frames like the one featured above, different shades of our color pallete (colbalt, royal, light, yellow) as background and drawing the table numbers in black. We already figured out how we will be drawing the numbers on the paper, they sell number stencil at Michaels :)

Loggie Bear-

Ring Bearer: I want to make this for mr. loggie bear my ring bearer :)

Just a little reminder

Sometimes I forget how beautiful and unique my colors are! I am using a bit of silver in with my theme.

CHAIRS

Chair Covers: Can't decide if I need them or not, these are my chairs above.

More Hair Ideas

I love the natural look of hair, not the hairspray kind of look. Very loose like.

Oh, yes, the Grooms Wear

Gray and Yellow? Like above? I really don't want black suits :)

DIY is the BEST

Decor Decor: I will be making small flags for each individual wedding cake peice that will be distributed. I did them for my engagement party but they were for all the drinks. This will be made with address labels and toothpicks :)
Below: Just wood letters painted, If I have time, this could be a nice idea for pictures but no biggie if I don't get to do it of course.... I have 9 months :)

Favors: So now I am debating whether or not I should use lace or make lables like this girl did. I really love how she personalized the top of the bottle by adding their name, perhaps I could do the same with a "Thank You Note" hanging from it. I just don't want pictures on the label, like of Ray and I

R & G

Ceremony: I am planning on making these hanging letters for the entrance of our church. It is a nice DIY project both Ray and I can put together. Cheap too!
