Something.. BLUE

Something Blue: Ray had mentioned that he wanted to give me my "something blue" for the wedding day. He offered to get me my blue ring, nothing expensive but something with an emerald cut (cubic people) so I can wear it on my right hand on the day of. I love the idea.

Program so you know what's going on

Wedding Programs: I am going to try to NOT spend stupid money on these, from wha t I know shouldn't cost more than 20$ for all 100 of them. I have the template for the style up top. I just know it's going to be a hot day and would like everyone to use their program fans :) These will be given out by my brothers before the ceremony begins.

Honor those who aren't there...

Bridal Bouquet: I wanted to honor Ray's mom who passed away a few years ago by having her picture hanging off of my bouquet. Ray was very close with his mother and I want her to be close to both of us on the day of our wedding. This is going to be a DIY project and shouldn't be that hard. Lovely :)

Manly Socks

Groomsman: We ordered socks for the best man, ushers, and groomsman. They are the same style and color!

Wishing Tree.. Wish Wish

Guest Book Alternative: I had mentioned I relaly wanted to get a poloraid camera and have guests take a picture and then put it in a book with their guest note. This is an awesome alternative I saw online. I really love the idea of the wishes and maybe I can still have the polorid and they can also attach their pic (if the tree can handle it) My mom's friend gets the tree for awesome price much cheaper then the 30 page guest book ($80) Which I will need 4 books!
Wishing Tree: is a Dutch wedding custom where guests are given a piece of paper, either shaped like a leaf or made of card stock. The guests write their wishes to the bride and groom and then hang it on the tree. This creates gorgeous centerpiece and the tree is placed at the entrange to the reception to wow guests right when they walk in.

JK Wedding Entrance Dance

I love this video! I wouldn't be able to plan it though as much as I would love to!!

Invitations!

Invitations: I cannot find Blue and Yellow invitations anywhere and the ones I do find are too expensive.
I found these at Michaels and having about 5/ 40% OFF coupons makes them very very cheap :) I like that the kit includes everything even envelope address stickers. I know it's a navy blue, but they are classy and I am sure the guests will remember the invitations.

HeHe.. don't you just freaken love this cake. I like it even more now because I encountered a black bear last week while camping. It's very Ray.

At Last...

Well, we picked our first dance song. This is a song that gives Ray the chills whenever he listens to it and really loves the lyrics. So, it is officially our song.

At Last Lyrics by Etta James

At last, my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song

Oh, yeah, at last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clovers
The night I looked at you

I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Oh, yeah when you smile, you smile
Oh, and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine
At last

Save the Dates

My Designs: Did I mention I am way into graphic design? I get my ideas from past brides but instead of paying $2.50 per invitation I design my own! I made both of these for my STD's and my Engagement Party.

Wedding Dress Options

Option #1: A. I might need a boob job. B. My brothers would kill me C. Priest would NOT marry us D. Ray would try to pull it down as a joke!
Option #2: My mom would love this dress ..nothing like being a princess on your wedding day!

Option #3: HaHa..no really?!

Inspirations

Favors: Look at these cookies, this bride had the help from her aunt to help make these cookies. she said it cost her aroun .30 cents a cookie! Gotta have a steady hand!

Cocktail Drinks- I love the blue!

Bridal Table: I love this, I am all about the Letters R G . Another DIY project.
Bridesmaid Dresses: I am a little nervous about the sailor blue dresses I have featured below, for some reason I keep looking at them and thinking they are purple! I don't even want the dresses to really shine to tell you the truth! Something just for the summer so the girls can wear it again throughout the year! This is a nice color called COLBALT BLUE minus the shine does the even make sense?! The picture where all the bridesmaid and the bride are taken below THAT EXACT DESIGN AND COLOR.
Invitations: I love these invitations! They are really beautiful, just an inspiration.

Father of the Bride Gift: I am pretty sure my dad would pass out if I gave him this, of course, engraved in spanish. I think I might get this for him so he could always have it. It reads " You may be giving me away today, but I will always be your little girl. I love you." Yeah, I know brought a tear to my eye too.

Ring Bearer Boys: Wouldn't this be so cute for Logie? And then have Oliver Elliot and Brandon push him. The only type of object we have to pull is a car, a big red one. Still really cute idea to get all the boys involved. Also the sign behind him says "HERE COMES THE BRIDE" handwritten

This couple just got married at the Omni May 29th. I just love the pictures they took and the ceilings of the pavillion where I will be having my reception! So so excited!
